Re: It’s my Birthday - Being Skilled – The Market – Trading this week - Points to Ponder and My Take on them
It’s my Birthday Today
It’s my Birthday today “Saint Nicolaas” day. I tell everyone I meet that I am the one and only Saint and some even believe it.
However, my wife does not believe I a word of that - - - well so be it J .
I thought this was going to be my 80th but, according to my son and daughters I will only be 79 years young instead.
Some people thing I am just an opportunist. After reading a Birthday card I received perhaps I am an opportunist. The card stated:
A pessimist says the Wine Glass is half empty – An optimist says the Wine Glass is half full and the Opportunist says “Hey Look!! Free Wine!
Cheers, I will drink to that!
Being a Skilled Socrates Interpreter is Challenging
In my previous Free of Charge FDNN letter I wrote: “Only those investors who had been to other PEI conferences were the ones skilled enough to understand. Heck, I have studied Marty and SOC since 1985 and I feel I am skilled but, there were still areas at the Martin Armstrong (MA or Marty) November WEC presentations that I had trouble understanding and had to question Marty about them before I got it.”
A fellow attendee at the WEC 2016 wrote me and said that in order to become skilled you need to have the three (3) T’s: “Time, Temperament, and Training”. Yes, you have to have the Time, be very even Tempered and you have to continually Train, Train and Train in order to follow Socrates (SOC) and MA’s interpretation of SOC. Our Analytical Team and I do find that task quite challenging indeed.
The Markets Moving Forward
Gold: On Month-end Gold closed below 1210 and a drop into 2017 is expected. This is another indication that we probably will see THE low in Gold before the end of the 1st Quarter in 2017 instead of having to wait for 2018 but, we still need to see the closing numbers on Friday December 30 for confirmation.
The Dow: The Month-end close for the Dow was 19,123 indicating the Dow is still in a Bullish territory.
US 30-year Treasury Bonds: On Wednesday November 30 (Month-end) 30-year US T-Bonds closed below 160 indicating the bond bubble is ending.
Day Trading this Week
We did receive the SOC Trader Level 1.0 for Tuesday and when Day Trading, we made excellent return on our investment as well as for those investors who gave me Trading Authority in their accounts. On Wednesday, when I clicked on the Trader Level 1.0 website I got a message stating:
Socrates Preview is now CLOSED - Thank you for using the Socrates Preview website
So it looks like they are getting ready to launch the long awaited full version of the Trader Level 2.0.
MA told us that the 2.0 would be launched a few days after 1.0 was stopped. As of today there has been no launch of the 2.0 so, I will not trade on Monday either. Because; I only Day Trade on the basis of the Socrates forecast & signals, I just have to wait with Day Trading until the new version is launched.
Points to Ponder & My Take on Them
1) Michael Campbell. Radio Host at CKNW radio “MoneyTalks” http://moneytalks.net/about-us/michael-campbell.ht... and a long-time friend of Martin Armstrong and the person who introduced me to Martin Armstrong in 1985 (Michael made an appearance in the film “The Forecaster”) in answer to comment by a WEC 2016 attendee last November who said:
“After listening to Armstrong explaining Socrates, I don’t know if I should be investing in the long term or in the short-term. The short-term based on Socrates seems so difficult to follow and learn”.
Michael answered: “As a long-term Investor you are going to be right. Only if you are a Trader then should you consider short-term”.
I totally agree with Michael, it takes a tremendous amount of time to learn and understand the SOC forecasts and signals. It is not possible to be a successful Trader if you cannot devote your full-time to focus and learn how to decipher the Socrates forecast and signals. If you cannot do that then leave it those of us that can spend the time. You will not be able to predict the future without studying “Socrates”. Therefore do like we do: Train, Train and Train.
2) In the United States and Europe the pension crises is gaining momentum. Beneficiaries are starting to panic.
Yes, the pension crisis is snowballing out of control as Martin Armstrong predicted it would a long time ago. To many it may still be hard to believe that one man can predict these events so far in advance of them taking place however, I am a firm believer and I live my life and constantly act on his predictions on a daily basis.
