March 29, 2016
Today Martin Armstrong (MA) told us that everything appeared to be lining up with the “Socrates” generated turning points for March, May, August, and November. Adam Hamilton, a free-thinking letter writer, confirms this in his March 25, 2016 letter when he discusses the yearly recurring Seasonalities. These fundamental Seasonalities should also be considered when buying or selling Gold i.e.:
- The usual low in Mid-March follow by a spring rally in April and May;
- Starting in late July and going into August the buying of Gold after farmers in Asia have brought in their harvest;
- This is followed in the autumn by Gold buying from India;
- After which we start the Western Holliday season buying;
- Followed by Year-end Investment demand;
- Followed by Chinese New Year Gold buying going into February.
Our Team analysis before we enter into a Trade is primarily focussed on MA and his computer generated oracle “Socrates” but, the Team never forgets to consider the fundamentals before buying or selling Gold Nearest Futures, the HUI, the S&P and/or individual Gold Stocks.
So now and then the Team TESTS the market(s) before entering into any major Trade. We did so on March 25, 2016, the Thursday before Good Friday. That Thursday was the last day of the trading week and we bought small amounts of the bearish DUST as well as the SPXU as a TEST only. Because, it became too risky, we unwound these Trades and sold the DUST and SPXU just before Yellen’s speech this morning. The decision to sell had nothing to do with MA’s Socrates, it was the Yellen speech that told the Team to mitigate the risk and we sold.
We have stated this before, but it is good to restate that our Team’s analytic research includes input from: A) Free-thinking letter writers who have clarity of thought and vision, who base their opinions on thorough research, critical thinking, and fact-based analysis; and B) Long time Broker/Trader friends with many years of experience who understand Money Flows and the impact these flows have on e.g. Foreign Exchange, the Metals and the Markets in general; and C) The Team monitors several Discussion Groups with interests similar to ours.
Although, our main focus is MA’s “Socrates”, Fundamental Analysis will continue to play a role in our decision making before we enter a trade.
As an aside, according to MA, Gold has NOT been in a Bear Market at all and it continuous to be in a Bull market. The Leg down since august 2011 has only been a Bear-Leg down and the Gold Bull CYCLE has not changed and is continuing.
Today, MA added an important Indicator Range Tool to the Socrates ‘Trader Level’. This Tool certainly will assist the Team in its analytical processes.
Once you have viewed the Video then you should look at what Socrates reported this morning for the Gold Daily Level Indicator Trend:

If you are not in a position to continually do the monitoring that is required in order to make money making trades
