Re: French Election Results Disastrous for Precious Metals - Metals Investor Forum - Gold, Silver & the Dow - Point to Ponder
French Election Results and Its Effect on the Gold & Silver Markets
The Macron win in the French Elections today will send France and the EU down really hard. Macron represents no change for France and will commit the country to go down with the EURO Ship.
Macron’s win will add additional force to the Socrates (SOC) forecast signals and it will effect Silver & Gold to the downside in a big way, as noted I have under the Gold Silver & the Dow section below.
Metals Investor Forum – May 5 & 6, 2017
I attended the Metals Investor Forum organized by Gwen Preston publisher of Resource Maven. Gwen analyzes the Resource Markets.
She gave the opening address on Friday and spoke about the yearly Seasonalities in the Resource Markets. She said that Gold and by reference Silver can expect strong moves this coming Autumn however, these metals will be in the Seasonal doldrums this summer.
In addition she stated that Zinc prices will soon heat up once again.
Gold, Silver and the Dow
The French Election Results will fast-track the following analysis by SOC:
NY Gold Nearest Futures
For Monday May 8, 2017 SOC states for Gold:
Daily: Caution; Weekly: Pressing Lower; Monthly: Moving Lower; Quarterly: Reaction High; and Yearly: Still Bullish.
Because of the French election results, it now becomes entirely possible for Gold to break down below $1,194.40 and for us to see a retest of support which lies @ $1,179.60.
Based on the above, we will Short Gold tomorrow.
The same with Silver we will Short it tomorrow
Dow Jones Industrials Index Cash
For Monday May 8, 2017 SOC states for the Dow:
Daily: Temp High; Weekly: Holding; Monthly: Getting Toppy; Quarterly: Still BULLISH; and Yearly: Temp High.
Before the Markets open tomorrow, we will make our Paid-for Subscribers aware of what Short instrument position we will buy.
