Re: Martin Armstrong, and Dave Skarica – I 'Lived and Learned'
Yes, live and learn, I relied on Martin Armstrong’s Blogs dated October 29, 30 and 31, 2014 and bought the SPXS and I should not have done that. However, based on his Blog of October 31, after the Dow broke 17,042, I then realized my trade was wrong and sold some of my SPXS and took the loss (whereas markets never go straight up or down, I will unwind my remaining position sometime before November 22).
Yesterday on November 1, 2014, Marty posted this Blog which was in reply to a comment by an irate reader of his Blog who was annoyed by the use of words such as could”, “perhaps” and “maybe”. I clearly understand the commenter’s frustration because, even for me, as my disastrous SPXS trade noted above indicates, it has been very difficult to decipher Marty’s comments on his Blogs.
I will now sit back and I will not trade anything until I can purchase Martin Armstrong’s ‘Opening Reversal System’ which is expected to be available in January.
WHY: Click on the ‘Daily Historical – Dow Jones Industrial Chart’ in his November 1, 2014 Blog and then you can see why.
If I would have had access to the Daily Dow Industrial Charts then I would NOT have entered my losing SPXS trade at the time I did because, those Daily Dow Industrial Charts would have decisively told me NOT TO.
I Live and Learned!
By the way, David Skarica of 'Addicted to Profits' saw the trend developing as well and was much quicker of the mark than I. Prior to the opening on Friday he told his Subscribers that he was putting in a sell order for the SPXS.
Next week will be a VERY VOLATILE week which will be aided and abetted by the US Mid-term elections as well. According to Armstrong, “after October/November we should see the longer-term trend form” so I will stay vigilant and read the Martin Armstrong Blogs but will not trade any market until I can purchase his 'Opening Reversal System' charts.
It is all about making money!
Always remember, “sell a little too early as well as a little too late”, never be too greedy and try not to sell everything at the top ("you will never go broke taking a profit")!
